UCAL University is proud to announce that it has become the first higher education institution in Peru to be assessed under the QS Industry Alignment Framework, developed by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the world\u2019s leading provider of higher education analytics, rankings, and labour market intelligence.<\/span><\/p>\n

This milestone collaboration marks a significant step forward in UCAL\u2019s ongoing commitment to ensuring that its graduates are fully equipped to succeed in an increasingly dynamic and technology-driven global economy. By partnering with QS, UCAL is helping to pioneer a new approach to aligning university education with real-world industry needs \u2014 positioning Peruvian higher education at the forefront of innovation in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n

The QS Industry Alignment Framework is designed to evaluate how effectively university programmes prepare students for current and future workforce demands. Through an in-depth, data-driven evaluation process lasting approximately 90 days, participating institutions receive detailed feedback on their programmes, and a tailored roadmap to further strengthen their alignment with industry needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

QS brings unparalleled global expertise to this initiative. Each year, QS analyses over 500 million job postings and 334 million alumni career trajectories and conducts the world\u2019s largest employer survey with over 100,000 responses. These insights are cross-referenced with global industry trends, government policy data, and emerging skills intelligence to identify the competencies that matter most for the future workforce.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe pace of change in the labour market has never been faster,\u201d<\/span><\/i> said Esteban Veintimilla, Director of Employability Partnerships, QS <\/span>\u201cBy engaging with the QS Industry Alignment Framework, UCAL is demonstrating great foresight and leadership. This partnership will ensure their graduates develop the technical, creative, and human skills that will remain essential \u2013 especially in an era shaped by AI and automation.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

UCAL\u2019s Business programmes will be the first in the country to undergo this evaluation. This initiative reflects UCAL\u2019s determination to continually refine its academic offer, foster agile learning, and ensure that its students acquire both the technical expertise and the adaptive, creative, and human-centred skills required to excel in an uncertain future.<\/span><\/p>\n
